Biography
During her work as a facilitator and conflict manager at the Risk-Dialogue Foundation over the last ten years, she led stakeholder-dialogues and public dialogues in Germany and Switzerland, regarding public discourses within the fields of energy consumption, genetically modified foods, stemcells, brain science and nanotechnology.
Since 2004 Antje Grobe is Head of the Division Nanotechnology and represents the Foundation in Germany.
At the Universities of St. Gallen and Stuttgart she leads since 2003 research teams covering questions of risk awareness and risk communication on nanotechnologies. Research projects with in depth expert-interviews and a quantitative mediaperception study 2001-2005 were conducted. Antje Grobe is project manager of the German Delphi-Survey on nanotechnological applications in food, cosmetics and other everyday items in 2006.
She studied communication science, political science and economy at the University of Essen, Germany and reached the PhD at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland at the Department of Business Ethics.
